What I meant to say...

I wasn't going to participate in what I meant to say wedsesday. As an act of sanity preservation I try not to remember the situations where I have not lived up to my full potential. (This us likely why most of college is a blur...or it could be because of the alcohol - either way.) But when I let the opportunity to speek my mind to someone I really don't like slip past with nary a bitchy eyebrow raise I knew what fate was telling me.

When the helicopter mom extraordinaire in my son's swimming class said "Maybe he'd be better in the toddlers class." and I said "well, he is a pretty good swimmer."

what I REALLY meant to say was "Listen bitch, my three year old can swim circles around your snot nosed 5 year old golden child. Yes, I realize that he doesn't always listen to direction and sometimes splashes around when he shouldn't. But at least he has some character, unlike your kid who has the personality of play-doh. And while I'm at it, would you let the kid blink once in a while without telling him how to do it?"
"oh yeah, and you can totally suck it!"

I'm going to print this blog post out and have it ready for next week.
